Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Vomiting, Back Pain, Abdominal Pain And Ovarian Cyst
I went to the doctor with back and abdominal pain. I had nausea and vomiting. The ER Doctor admitting me and said it was my appendix. The surgeon came in the next morning and said my white blood count was fine and it was a cyst on my ovary. The Surgeon doctor sent me hone saying it was the cyst. Should I be worried its my appendix?
Nausea, vomiting, back pain and abdominal pain should be further evaluated by clinical examination of abdomen and various tests.
In ovarian cyst, abdominal pain is not so common but you should go for abdominal ultrasound to confirm it and without investigations report it is difficult to say exactly.
You should also go for routine blood works which your doctor has already done and interpretated,so the chances of having appendix issue would be less since your WBC count is within normal limits as stated by surgeon.
Also, ultrasound abdomen will be helpful to rule our appendix or any other abdominal pathology.
Once it is confirmed regarding ovarian cyst, you will need to see gynecologist for further treatment.
Mostly he/she will prescribe you appropriate antibiotics and other symptomatic treatment.
