Hello,

The symptoms can be caused due to the nasal bone growth. The body’s reaction to irregular tension on an affected bone area can lead to excess bone development. Pain is caused when they scrub against the nerves and press encompassing tissue. Be gentle with yourself. The nasal bone growth is brought about by repetitive pressure to the bones in the nose that may also affect the nasal septum.

Get clinically examined by an ENT, get all required tests and investigations done. You are suggested to stay at rest so that the symptoms do not get intensified. Taking pain relief medicines like naproxen or acetaminophen can help to reduce swelling and pain. They can give corticosteroid injections for temporary relief or can recommend surgery. Surgery involves surgical expulsion of any unusual hard development in the nose or septoplasty.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
