Suggest Treatment For Neck Pain Due To C5-C6 Bone Spur

I have a history of neck problems... C5-c6 bone spur and disk issue . Over the last month I am having a lot on left neck pain that radiates down into left scapular area and just left of sternum. I have had 2 PT sessions with spine therapist and a massage with no relief. I have taken several doses of toradol with no relief. Kind of miserable at this point...any suggestions?

Hi,

You seem to have had the correct initial steps in management with physical therapy and pain killers. If they are not working then you should speak with your doctor about the possibility of local shots of steroids and analgesics. In the meanwhile oral neuropathic pain medication such as Gabapentin or Pregabalin may help alleviate the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
