Hi,

Answer will be conditional please follow appropriate relative advice

Scenario 'ONE':
I am guessing you just hit your puberty and you are "not sexually active" at time of asking the question. Nocturnal Emissions are common with boys under 20 years of age. It varies from 1-2 times a week to 5 times a week. Nothing to concern. It has been researched that about 8% of boys have such frequently occurring emissions. Currently newly pubescents boys will have high sensitivity to touch, even touch of bed sheet / lucid sexually arousing dream may lead to such nocturnal emission (on an average 8% have them daily). The emissions will decrease eventually once you become acclimatized to the sexual intercourse. The sensitivity of your sex organ will decrease eventually.

Nothing to worry, if capable of masturbation try it before you go to sleep once every 2-3 days and see if it helps to stop nocturnal emissions.

Scenario 'TWO':
I am guessing you just attained puberty and is sexually active with partner. In this scenario the main concern is the Sexually transmitted disease.
1) Have you primary care provider check you for the STD. (Best option) if in a position not able to talk to the primary care provider you need to do following
>>> i) No sexual activity with partner till the following thing is resolved
>>> ii) Monitor the ejection for any a) blood, 2) foul smell, or 3) any abnormal appearance of semen.
>>> iii) if currently described resolve in few days no need to worry. If the conditions mentioned in (ii) present please contact urologist and have it checked.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jay Patel, General & Family Physician
