Suggest Treatment For Nocturnal Enuresis And Ear Infection

my 6 year old grandson battles with bedwetting, recently he had a bacterial infection not related to wetting but ear infection. at the same time he was put on claritin redy tabs for 10 days, he stopped wetting the entire 10 plus days! once off the antibiotic and the claritin started wetting again.! Ideas, suggestions?

HI,
I understand your concern.
- YOur son had ear infection along with beds wetting.. which was temporarily relieved with antibiotics given for ear infection... possibly he has urine infection which was not completely removed with the antibiotic given. - Please get hom checked by your family physician/ get him investigated to exclude/ confirm urinary infection. Take specific treatment as per need.
- Parent & child education to prevent the bed wetting includes,
-avoiding excess water after 7 pm.
- periodic evacuation of bladder after waking the boy up .
- Use of anti diauretic medicines/ anti depressants/ antibiotics if there is infection if advised by doctor. do help.
- Main stress is given to psychological boosting of the child/ preserving his self esteem.
- Acupuncture/ Ayurveda medicines ( Bangsheel from Alarsin Lab. ) help.
