Hi,

Noted your history of thyroid nodules, tests of thyroid functions sometimes are normal, sometimes high and sometimes low; dry skin, no eyebrows, gaining weight and so on. Well, let us discuss these points one by one. Changing thyroid function tests from low to normal and sometimes high indicate that you most probably are suffering from a disease called thyroiditis in which the functions of thyroid will change as per the rate of inflammation. This is most probably an autoimmune disease.

Needs further evaluation, FNAC of thyroid nodules and the organ. Tests of blood for anti-TPO antibodies and so on, tests for autoimmune diseases. As for the loss of eyebrows and other symptoms some sort of autoimmune disease must be a reasons. Also, needs to be ruled our are Hansen's disease that is leprosy. Consult your doctor, discuss these issues, get investigated and referred to the appropriate Specialists for proper evaluation and management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
