Suggest Treatment For Non-narcotic Medications For Arm Pain

What pain medicaion can you recommend - non-narcotic for arm pain ( feels too groggy after Norco ) - Person had after a rather large right MCA stroke affecting the left arm left leg although not much movement in the leg and her arm is flaccid hemiplegic/mild hemiparesis. Probably some shoulder separation b/c of the way she has been transferred - Currently in a Rehab setting

Apply Arnica gel cream topically, and Capsaicin cream both 4 times a day. Give her Ibuprofen800mg twice daily for pain. It's non narcotic and is effective one.
