Suggest Treatment For Non Stop Vomiting And Abdominal Pain

my son is 9 years old and he was hospitalized yesterday. He has been vomiting non-stop for about 3 days, complains of abdominal pain in the belly button area, no diarreah, and throws up everything even water. He was given medication for the nausea and he is still vomiting. Can a stomach virus cause that? he has always been a healthy child.

Hi.
The stomach virus is said to have caused this if all the relevant investigations are normal. You have to get the following investigations :
Ultrasonography of the abdomen to see for appendicitis , lymph nodes are very common at this age-group.
Complete blood, urine and stool tests.
Continue with the medications along with antibiotics as per the reports.
This may take a few more days to get settled.
