Suggest Treatment For Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis Disease
I have NASH and the hospitals in Arizona require a meld scoree of 32+ before they do a liver transplant here My doctor has suggested that I chcck to see what the lowest meld score is at Ochsnee and what would be required to get a tranplant there. YYYY@YYYY
* As per my clinical experience, a mild level of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis can be best managed with dietary modifications and exercises, control of blood sugar, body weight and cholesterol.
* Moderate to severe cases require intensive therapy with medications as lipid-lowering agents and further stuff regarding the hepatobiliary system management.
However if all the details of reports and supportive symptoms are given, a specific narrative clue can be delineated from this point ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
