General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history related to your Dad, not getting proper motion due to mal-rotation of gut causing dilated bowel loops.
He also has hypertension.
Since the Mal-rotation and dilatation of the gut is confirmed I will advise him the following:
Get admitted to the hospital.
Further tests such as contrast enhanced CT scan or enteroclysis to get a confirmed diagnosis and proper management in the form of medical or surgical as indicated.
Once planned a proper surgery may alleviate his problems for ever.
