Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern.

As per your query while throwing up bile you felt numbness and pain in face is definitively a matter of concern. From your symptoms i think its all because of hypoparathyroidism i.e decrease levels of thyroid hormones in your body. I would suggest you to visit gastroenterlogist and don't panic about going ER immediately. Get your lab tests ( CBC, LFTs, RFTs and thyroid function test) done. From the lab values it could be make out what is the exact cause of your condition and treatment can be started accordingly. Facial pain and weakness could be because of nerve pathology as well i.e stimulation of trigeminal nerve. So firstly find out underlying GI cause, if that is not the reason you have to visit dentist and start treatment for this condition.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
