Hello,
Your right hand goes numb and there is tingling at night. Gradual onset of numbness, prickling or tingling in your hands, which can spread upward into your arms may be indicative of nerve problem. Left untreated the symptoms may worsen and may cause lack of coordination,
muscle weakness or numbness in the affected area. It can cause numbness or decreased sensation in the area supplied by the nerve.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a
Neurologist, get the required blood tests and Nerve conduction velocity tests done. You will be given conservative treatment and
physical therapy if required. You can take Nervup OD, once daily for 10 days initially to help repair the nerves.
Peripheral neuropathy may take time to get well, have patience. If diabetic, control your blood sugar levels at all cost. You should include food rich in vitamin B6,b12,
folic acid, minerals in your regular diet. Do regular walking and stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
