Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Legs
I have had tingling and numbness in my leg. Today when I got my shower my legs turn ashy gray and blue from about 6 inches from my knees to my feet I did not notice this before. I have a neurologist that is taking care of my legs with numbness it is related to a problem with my back
1)Ashy grey-bluish discoloration could be due to stagnation and decreased oxygenation of that particular part. Compression over blood vessels by surrounding structure( or any other mechanical compression) could be reason. This can cause numbness over area supplied by hypoxic nerve( yes, nerves do need blood supply for proper functioning)
Also, exposure to cold water will constrict peripheral blood vessels and reduce peripheral supply of oxygen.
2) Direct compression over nerve by surrounding structure ( in your case it may be vertebral part)
Hope it helped.
