Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife suffers numbness in the right arm in the night when she goes to sleep. She wakes up because of the accompanying pain in the arm, endures the pain and numbness in the night. When we wake up and go about our work the pain and numbness are never there. They go during the day and come back at night when we go to sleep! What is the problem Doctor and what medicines can we buy?
I went through your details. If there is only numbness and the numbness comes only when you go to sleep at night, don't come even when you work, the problem could be obsession about the numbness. Another possibility could be neuron related problems like writers cramp etc. You should consult a neurologist for confirmation and then a psychologist if necessary. Take care.
