Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Lower Legs

Hi. I just got back from my lunch break and went to sit down and after about a minute my left lower leg went number and my left hand was shaking extremely bad. Both of my hands often shake all the time but it was really bad and had never happened before

Hello,

You can wait few hours for spontaneous recovery.
Most probably it is due to blockage of blood supply during prolonged sitting.
If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
In that case we have to consider conditions like peripheral neuropathy also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
