Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Hand

I woke up in the middle of the night holding my phone pen and realized that the tip of my middle finger on my left hand is numb. Will this stop or should I go to my doctor is something to worry about.. No pain and no other symptoms just the one area and that s the tip of middle finger only.

Hello thank you for writing us here.
The most common reason of numbness is compression of nerve at wrist level. There's nothing to worry about. You just have to change the position of sleeping. Sleep on your back and keep your arms by your side or on your tummy. You won't have any numbness. Sleeping on your side would result in numbness for sure. No need of medicines for this.
God bless you.

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
