Suggest Treatment For Numbness On The Lips And Black Eyes

Hi I got punched in the face and didn t see it coming. It was a single punch and got me on my left eye. It s now day 2 and the top of my eyelid is black, I have a bit of soreness on my cheekbone and most importany, I feel numbness from the area above my left side of the top lip, onto half my nose and check next to my nose. The left tip of my nostril is the most numb spot. It also feels like my left nostril is a bit congested. I have iced the area and taken over the counter anti-inflammatories. What else can/should I do? Is it worth going to a doctor? Getting an X-ray or CT scan? The numbness is my main worry- could i have nerve damage, and if so, how long should I expect the numbness (and the black bruising above my eye) to last? Also, how do I know if something is broken (eye socket, cheek bone, etc), or if there is damage to my sinuses?
