Suggest Treatment For Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Causing Severe Sleep Disturbance
I have obstructive sleep ap . I stop breathing 37 times in one hour. I have bee on a sleep ap machine for five months . I am also having some breathing problems sometimes plus I have been passing out having low blood pressures . Told yesterday I now have sleeps somnia .I DO NOT GO INTO A FULL SLEEP , MY DR. SAIDIF I DID THEN I WOULD SHOW MORE TIMES OF37 times in one hour of not breathing. Don,t know what to do. JUDY

It occurs when the soft tissue in the back of your throat relaxes during sleep and blocks the airway, often causing you to snore loudly. Treatment also include lifestyle changes like weight loss , avoid smoking , avoid alcohol, sleeping pills, and sedatives , exercise regularly , avoid caffeine and heavy meals . Continue CPAP machine go for other oral appliances and EPAP . Doctor may also recommend surgery like jaw repositioning or tissue removal .
