Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing occasional dizziness, like when I stand or even roll over in bed. It has happened in the past but not for several months and normally lasts a day. This time it has persisted for 2 days and going. The roll-over-in-bed is new this time and is more severe than when I just stand or sit up. Thanks Gary
Dizziness may be caused by low BP or problems in the ears. You should Check you BP on sitting and after standing, if there is more then 20 drop, then it's postural drop and we need to see causes for it.
However, if dizziness is more with changes in positioning, then it's more like diseases of the ear like wax, or infection, or other problems in the inner ear. So it's good to see an ENT specialist for assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
