Suggest Treatment For Occasional Shooting Pain In The Knee

My husband describes a sliver-like pain on his knee. Occasionally it feels like it s bleeding, but there s no blood visible. He also describes the pain as what it feels when you have an ingrown hair. He has not injured his knee and there are no visible symptoms. He can apply pressure to the knee with no discomfort, however feels the pain when his pants rub on it as well as when he s sleeping.

Hello,

Pain may be due to neuropathy or tendinitis or arthritis etc. Get it done x-ray of joint with the local examination.

Avoid climbing stairs and vigorous activity. Use cold and warm compression.

If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
