Suggest Treatment For Occipital Lymph Nodes On The Right Side Of Head
Hi doctor My husband is 37yrs old .. he noticed firm non painful occipital lymph nodes on the right side of his head . It was about 1 : 1.5 cm in diameter .It looks fixed but non painful .. a weak ago he noticed an enlarged superior cervical lymph node on the left side of his neck Which is tender but not that hard as occipital nodes He did cbc . Esr. Urine analysis they Show slightly elevated lymphocytes And high uric acid He is medically free . Except hypotension Do it concern worry .. And what should I do
Your husband will need a thorough examination of his lymph nodes, his armpits, groins, neck and other areas that have lymph nodes should be checked by a doctor. Probably his liver and spleen will need to be checked with an ultrasound as well. Generally, if lymph nodes are under 2 cm in diameter and are not growing with time, there is nothing to worry. So he needs to have them checked now and then rechecked regularly in a few weeks-months.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
