Suggest Treatment For Optic Nerve Hypoplasia In Fetus During Pregnancy
I had my Anatomical Ultrasound done at yesterday (19 weeks 4 days). The doctor could not see the Cavum Septum Pellucidum (CSP) in the Ultrasound. Doctor mentioned that everything else in the brain looked absolutely fine. Therefore, doctor s prognosis was a possible Optic nerve hypoplasia. The doctor also mentioned that it is possible that the CSP will show up on an ultra sound in 2 to 4 weeks. What should be my next steps to determine if there is any problem with the child or not?
Hi..don't worry.. If I would be your doctor then would suggest you to wait for few weeks before predicting anything.. Would ask a specialist to perform anamoly scan after 2 weeks..then proceed further depending on results of scan..thanks..
