Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cyst In The Left Ovary
I have had numbness on left side if stomach area which wraps around to my mid back. I also feel slightly queasy. Not pregnant. 53 year old woman. Last menstrual cycle 4 months ago. 2.4 cm ovarian cyst on left ovary. Could this be causing the numbness?

Your findings suggests small left ovarian simple cyst.Simple ovarian cyst generally only require follow up ultrasound.
You may need clinical evaluation and few investigations like tumour markers CA 125(it will exclude malignant causes) .
Simple ovarian cyst may require treatment if it cause symptoms,size increases or there is infection in the cyst.
Simple ovarian cyst is not expected to cause numbness in left side of abdomen.
