I live in aptos ca and I think I have prolaspe something if not everything and I also have a good size ovarian cyst that probably should go. I am 58 and have two grown great kids. I have had two abortions one that put a hole in my uterus (very sick) two kids and then a baby in my tube which had to be removed. My question is who do I make an appt. with to fix whatever needs fixing and hopefully it s fixable.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Prolapse is characterized by feeling of something coming out of vaginal opening. Prolapse occurs due to lack of support to the vagina by vaginal ligaments. Prolapse can be corrected by surgical procedure. Ovarian cysts are mostly benign but a close follow up is required to rule out the possibility of transformation into malignant tumor. For both conditions, you need to consult a gynecologist for further management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
