Suggest Treatment For Pain After Getting Braces

Hello i recently had braces put on and i have been in dire pain i was told to try over the counter asprin are bayer medicine for however i am currently on prescription for a seizure disorder and would like to know would it be okay to mix these to drugs and work

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Getting braces is always painful initially as they put pressure on teeth to move them. However, the pain should not be that much that you have to use the word "dire".

You can take your prescription medicine for seizure along with an analgesic that is available over the counter. However, I would advise you to visit your orthodontist again as he might need to do some changes in the braces.
