Suggest Treatment For Pain After Surgical Removal Of Cyst From Fallopian Tube
I had an cyst surgically removed from my Fallopian tube about four months ago, but now I am starting to feel pain again on the same ovary and do not know if the cyst has come back. I am eighteen years old, should I ask the ER to remove the entire ovary or what should I do?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No need to think about removal of ovary at this age. At young age (18 years), due to hormonal changes, fallopian tubecyst can recur. So better to first get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule out recurrence of cyst. If cyst is there then first get done hormone levels to rule out hormonal imbalance. If imbalance is there then you will need hormone pills to regulate hormones. If still cyst persist then you have to remove it surgically. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
