Suggest Treatment For Pain Along The Cheek Bone And Eyes

I am having sharp pain over my eyebrow and under my eye along my cheek bone to my nose on left side of my face. I do not have a stuffy nose and when I clench my teeth together I do not have discomfort. The pain lasts for about 20 mins and it happens often throughout the day.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain severe pain on one side of the face that occurs in short bouts throughout the day and is not continuous can be due to nerve related pain caused due to disorders related to Trigeminal nerve that is nerve of face and any disturbance in its function like compression with an artery, tumor,traumatic injury etc can lead to sever bouts of electric shock like pain causing Trigeminal Neuralgia..

I would suggest you to consult a Neurophysician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like MRI Scan, x ray, blood tests etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take Neurotic painkillers like Carbamazipine, Gabapantin, Baclofen etc.
Certain surgical techniques like Microvascular Decompression, balloon compression, glycerol inection, gama knife radiosurgery can be advised..
