Hello,
You fell in your kitchen few months ago, had X-ray done and there is no
fracture, no broken bones. Presently you are hurting and movement is limited. Your symptoms are indicative of skeletomuscular injury/trauma. If your left arm pain is caused by a muscle sprain or strain,
tendonitis or
bursitis you should keep the affected arm at rest. Apply ice on and off for
short periods, and keep it elevated (do not leave it hanging down). You can take painkillers,
Naproxen or
Combiflam, one SOS when required to ease any discomfort.
Do not overuse the affected arm. You should get yourself examined by a health care provider, doctor or a physical therapist as wearing a splint, sling, or crutches may help you to keep the affected area immobile & promote better healing. The bandage should be snug, but not so tight that you feel tingling or numbness. Make sure that there is proper blood circulation. Until inflammation in the bursa or tendon fully subsides, you are recommended to avoid activity that puts stress on the affected part.
To help bruise heal faster you can apply ointment
Soframycin on the affected area, you will get much relief. Maintain healthy body weight, starting exercising, eat a healthful diet that includes plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean meats, as well as low fat dairy products. Since it is your left hand that is hurting, get lipid function tests done to rule out any developing heart ailment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
