Hi can you help. 4days ago the vein in my wrist suddenly became very prominent and felt quite hot,i hadnt bumped it or hurt it. It was sore to touch,by the next day the vein had gone down but left a very large purple/black bruise,only just fading. What could this be

Its nothing. There may have been a minor infection. Just leave it at that if doesn't occur again. Get it checked if you are on some long term medication.
