Suggest Treatment For Pain And Burning Sensation In Left Testicle

my 19 year old son has been experiencing a weird burning sensation and annoying pain in his left testicle for several months. He has been tested for STDs (negative) he has had an ultra sound, he takes a rx which helps but the symptoms reoccur. What type of doctor should he see. he has been seen by a general doctor

I understand your concern.
Recurrence of pain in the testis and burning sensation associated with it appears that there could be ongoing infection in the testis called 'orchitis', which has not been subsided with institution of treatment.
Kindly get the following investigations done.
1. Urine routine examination.
2. Repeat ultrasound scan of scrotum.
Kindly consult Surgeon with the report for clinical examination and appropriate management.
