Suggest Treatment For Pain And Burning Sensation In The Stomach

My name is Bonnie. I am an 18 year old female. Around two years ago I started experiencing a painful burning sensation in my stomach that was brought on by spicy food or an empty stomach. I also experienced sharp pains around my intestinal area when my body was preparing to make a bowel movement. I made considerable changes to my lifestyle. I increased my physical activity levels and eliminated junk food from my diet. I noticed a huge difference in my overall wellbeing but my stomach pain had continued and worsened. I’ve always noticed that my stools are solid and have good form, they look healthy. The past 6 months my stools have been in small ribbons and is usually very watery and oddly colored. Only once have I had what may have been blood in my stool. I sought medical attention right away but the blood was no longer present. I ruled out the red colored liquid being from any sort of food or drink I had consumed. My stomach and intestinal pain has now evolved to be much worse, and way less tolerable. Now my upper abdominal area (stomach) burns constantly and sometimes I experience a gnawing sensation in it, like its moving around or something is trying to pass through but cannot. I also can constantly hear my stomach making noises and can even feel acid pump into it. Also, the skin on my upper abdominal area is extremely sensitive and just a light touch causes my stomach pain to worsen. I have experienced sharp stabbing pains in my stomach and ribcage before that were so intolerable I had to go to the emergency room and my body went into a state of shock. I used to consume alcohol but never on a regular basis, but I no longer drink as it makes my stomach pain a lot worse. I have been smoking cigarettes for about 4 months now, and I have noticed that my pain has worsened, but the pain had reached its peak before I had started. As far as stress goes, I do consider myself to be easily excitable and generally a high strung/high stress person. It is not always negative stress, sometimes positive, but it is definitely straining to my body, and I’m sure worsens my stomach pain. I should also note that my mother has had severe stomach problems for around 15 years now. She has had several tests and been on several medicines, all of which have failed to lead to a diagnosis of her problem. She finds current relief in her stomach medication but is yet to be diagnosed with the cause of her problems. She also has generalized anxiety disorder and received disability do to the extent of her condition. I have a history of colon cancer in my family. Many of the doctors I have seen suspect that I have stomach ulcers. This was ruled out when I underwent an endoscopy. I have also been tested for h pylori. Another condition that has been ruled out or I show no sign of is acid reflux. I currently have an undiagnosed stomach/digestive issue that is intolerable and affects my life considerably.

First of all as a doctor and well wisher I would like to suggest "QUIT SMOKING" As you have said you have undergone endoscopy already and no ulcers have been found so I would suggest you should undergo a comprehensive basic metabolic pattern which includes complete blood count, liver function tests and renal function tests. These can rule out if acute pancreatitis is a cause of stabbing pain you experience. I would also suggest you should start doing some relaxing yoga.
