Suggest Treatment For Pain And Clitoral Swelling

Went to the doctor two days ago due to clitorious swelling and pain. He looked at it and said its an infection and prescribed me medication. The pain is a little better but my clitorious is still very swollen and very uncomfortable. How long will the swelling last? Should I be worried? I ve only been on medication for two days but I expected to see the swelling subside a little.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for posting in HCM.
If the pain is coming down, then it indicates your infection is coming down.
Yes, it takes little more time for the swelling to subside. Have patience.
In the mean time keep the area clean and healthy and well ventilated by wearing loose undergarments.

General & Family Physician Dr. Swetha Dhananjay's  Response
Hello welcome to HCM. If the swelling is reduced then it is good news the infection is subsiding for the medication you are taking. It will take nearly 7-10 days to come back to normal. Pain may completely subside by 5 days. Take care.
