Suggest Treatment For Pain And Soreness In The Foot

I have been having problems with the bottom of my right foot for several months. When I am sitting it does not hurt. When I am on it, walking or standing, it hurts.. It does not swell but from the ankle down when I bend it, it is stiff and feels sore. I was thinking stress fracture or maybe something wrong with arch in foot. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
