my legs have had intermediate swelling for the past three years. It started with only the left leg accompanied by shooting pains in the left leg such that it was very painful to go from standing to sitting and vice versa. swelling went acutely down after shift of L4/L5 and given insert to lift left leg slightly. currently legs are swollen and do not decrease much if any while sleeping. edema on both shins but not as bad as a year ago but with legs swollen more.
