General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Chronic pain after ligament tear at 2 months can not be managed at home anyway and must be addressed to the treating consultant surgeon or ortho specialist.

* In my clinic, I recommend an MRI evaluation of the area for best possible guidelines in terms of whether there is any need of reconstructive surgery is required or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
