Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In The Knee
My knee is extremely swollen so much that it is hard to bend it and painful when doing so or even walking. My leg underneath seems to be reddish and feels warm . I did not injure it I just woke up 2 days ago and it was slightly swollen then became very swollen as the day went on. It feels like it needs to be drained. Any advice or concerns? Thanks Roni
As per your complain you have problem of swelling at knee and warmth redness present that may be because of septic or non-septic bursitis problem. Fluid accumulation occurs at knee area that one inflammatory fluid. Consult a physician for further diagnosis.
If needed then drainage can done. Detail history and physical examination give exact idea about problems. Anti-inflammatory drugs and painkillers can use for temporary relief.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Rachana Goswami
