Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling On Knee

I have swelling on left knee comes and goes infrequently accompanied by severe pain when sitting with knee bent. I have a small tare in patella tendon which showed on a mri. Ankle is starting to swell with a popping sound when I extend it. I also have high uric acid and it Is treated daily with 300 mg aallopurinol. blood test show uric acid level is normal . I also have loose stoolsfor over 3 years can all this be releated . .

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Sorry about your pain. Please note that a uric level is not congruent to gouty attacks. And if you have an inflamed joint, the only way to know what is happening definitively is to have the fluid analysed, short of that we are just guessing and a septic knee with infection can be very dangerous. So in short, have that knee looked at to make sure itr is not an infection. I hope that helps. Good luck
