Suggest Treatment For Pain And Tenderness In The Chest

Hi I have been camping over the weekend, caught a slight cold and now find I have very tender pain in my upper back/chest the pain feels like being winded, I was at work yesterday and felt fine no pain however I bent down to pick something up and when I rose the pain took my breath away, after sleeping I am very tender, can you offer any suggestion.

Hi welcome to HCM...

You pain in particular position and periodic ...So it could be musculoskeletal pain ...

But as you have history of cold , chest pain from bronchitis should be ruled out ...

For that chest x ray needs to be done ...

If bronchitis picture present with prominent bronchi vascular marking than according to severity treated with antibiotic , bronchodilator and decongestent drugs ....

If chest x ray normal than pain is musculoskeletal pain and only brufen needed for it along with proper sleep posture and warm compress
