Hi,

It sounds like you may have cervical radiculopathy, which is a condition where a nerve in the neck is compressed or irritated, leading to pain and weakness in the arm and shoulder. Treatment for cervical radiculopathy typically involves a combination of conservative therapies, such as physical therapy, medication, and activity modification, and in some cases, surgical intervention may be necessary.

Physical therapy can help to alleviate symptoms by improving the range of motion, strengthening the affected area, and reducing inflammation. Your physiotherapist may also recommend specific exercises and stretches to help improve your condition.

Medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or muscle relaxants may be prescribed to help manage pain and reduce inflammation. In some cases, steroid injections may also be used to help reduce inflammation and alleviate pain.

If conservative treatments are not effective, surgical intervention may be necessary. Surgery may involve removing the source of compression or irritation on the nerve root, such as a herniated disc or bone spur.

It is important to speak with your healthcare provider about the best course of treatment for your specific condition. They may refer you to a specialist, such as a neurologist or an orthopedic surgeon, who can provide additional guidance and treatment options.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
