Hi looking up my symptoms refers to liver cancer...my symptoms have been going on for a while, most recent is the pain in my left side under ribcage hurts with movement and breathing... For quite a while I ve been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort under my right ribs which sometimes there is a swelling like a lump it does reduce a bit and can be very tender, it also hurts both sides breathing at times. Can you please give some advice should I be worried. Sandra 41
Hello Sandra, Welcome to healthcare magic.com and thanks for sharing your concern with us. Such discomfort below rib cage can be due to different conditions like appendicitis , gallstones , liver diseases , pancreas problems , GERD, Peptic ulcers, IBD, or Trauma . Occasional discomforts are quite common and not a matter of concern . But if the pain and discomfort is persisting , recurrent then it's highly recommended to get ultrasound CT abdomen done to rule out any serious issue after consulting with your gastroenterologist . I wish you good health. Best Regards, DR.S.TOMAR
