Suggest Treatment For Pain Caused By Prostatitis

I feel like a vein is swollen between my scrotum and rectum. It is exactly between. It feels like a small tube 2-3 cm long. I have no pain, itchy feeling, any leaking or anything else. I used to have hemmoroids. I have a job wich requires me to be sitting almost whole day.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The painful area between scrotum and rectum may be part of developing abscess at peri anal region extending anteriorly. Guidelines at present:
- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water added epsom salt)
- Antibiotics as fluoroquinolones or others after the report of urine culture has been obtained by the lab technician
- Anti inflammatory and analgesic medications as diclofenac with serratiopeptidase as proteolytic enzymes
- Plenty of liquids
- Avoid masturbation or sex (if involved at present)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
