Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To An Undisolved Stitch

I had an open appendectomy which ruptured and turned gang green. I did not have a drain tube. This surgery was in 2009. I have had pain in my right side for 3 years now. Had an upper scope and colonoscopy a month ago which showed I have a stitch that didn't desolve. It's inflamed and bleeds if it's touched. Could this be causing my pain. It is a foreign object
