Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To Disc Protrusion

I have disc protrusion towards right at L3-L4 and L4-L5, with bare minimal root involvement as shown by MRI. It has been for 10 months now and I am in lot of mental depression at times because of this. Physical therapy doesn't seem to be helping me. I have had an ESI injection on 11th Feb, 2010, and with that the pain has gone away quite a bit but not all. Mostly I feel pain in morning while getting up from bed and it lasts for a minute or two. I want some lasting solution for my pain so I am active as I was before. I used to do sprints and lift weights prior to this condition. Please reply me and give me cure to this. I am a graduate student at University of Texas at Austin so sparing time is difficult. Very frankly I have lost faith in doctors here in Austin (per se US). I have my summer holidays coming up and I can think of coming to India if there's hope of my recovery back to normal position with full activity. My hometown in India is at Ludhiana, Punjab.
