Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To Prostate Infection
My husband has been treated for a prostate infection about 3 months ago and was subscribe perscription(bacterial infection) and that pain and discomfort have not gone away . He has recently gone to his doctor and he recommends him to see a geolergist for possible prostate cancer or another diagnosis. He has also gone in for a CAT scan that had came back normal.
As per my surgical experience, the normal CT scan rules out major issues but not 100% pathologies which are in the early phase.
I would suggest discussing the following issues with his doctor to decide a further plan of cure
- urine culture, prostate massage fluid culture if not done
- prostate biopsy if not done
- serum PSA level if not done.
If reports are being carried out, kindly revert back with details.
