I stubbed my second toe REALLY bad as I was running up my staircase about a week ago. It still hurts really bad and itches like crazy. Never has had a bruise or appeared swollen. Could it still be broken? And if so, what should I do? My whole foot and leg now hurt from me trying go walk in a way that is comfortable.
Hello Welcome to HCM. It ma be due to internal injury, tendon stretching or hair line fracture at toe. Please consult your orthopedic doctor for x ray and examinations. Apply diclofenac pain reliever gel also. Apply cold compresses there. Avoid too much pressure on toe. Also avoid heavy exercise. Take tablet paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain. You can have expert advises from physiothetapy. Don't take any other medications without consiltations. Hope this will be helpgul. Thanks for contacting us. Have a healthy life ahead. Take care...
