Suggest Treatment For Pain During Intercourse

Trying to use tampons always resulted in failure, but I thought this was me just being too tense. However, I m now a in relationship and having sex has proven difficult and slightly painful. I m not entirely sure what a normal hymen should look like, however, I do know mine isn t normal. From what I can see, mine has three holes, one slightly larger than the others. Will this just break like a normal hymen through penetration or is it likely that what I am describing is a septate hymen and I will need to see a doctor to have this problem removed?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
- From the fact that you have vaginal bleeding in menstruation,have difficulty in inserting tampoon& see 3 openings in hymen- You seem to have septate hymen- where band of membranous tissue divide the opening of hymen in multiple pores.
- Breaking to convert in normal hymeneal opening while first intercourse,may be very painful, local examination by a gynecologist can decide about trying it.
Usually miner surgical procedure is used to clear the opening.
