Hi, i am 23 yrs old girl. I have severe pain in my anus. Since morning almost 5-6 times i went to washroom, get normal faeces (not loose motion) but as soon as i leave the washroom, the pain in my anus is very inbearable. I am not able to sit, nor stand. It is paining like anything. Please help me.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Such a severe pain in anus on passing normal stools can be due to the following reasons: The can be cellulitis leading to peri-anal abscess formation. Fissure-in-ano. Thrombosed prolapsed pile. This can be diagnosed by the following way: Consult a General Surgeon for examination. Per-rectal and proctoscopy will not be possible due to pain. Get started with proper antibiotic, metronidazole, anti-inflammatory with painkiller properties. Sitz bath in a tub with warm water. Lying down in a head- low position helps. If the above measures do not help in a few days, you may need an operation.
