Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes, I ve been having pain in my back and stomach. It s been hard to get up and down the last couple of days. I m eating good and drinking plenty of water. I have been taking Advil daily but it doesn t seem to help . I urinate and have normal bowel movements. I do have low vitemine D and am on 50,000 IU per week.i have also developed a headache.
The symptoms you have mentioned seem to be related to gastric ulcer or peptic ulcer disease. Usually, this happens because there is increased acid in the stomach and a reflux in this can cause pain and back pain.
Usually, a doctor would treat it with starting on antacids. This can help to reduce most of the pain and symptoms. In case this is not helping, a triple therapy can be tried. If this fails as well. A esophagoscopy or other imaging can help to confirm the cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards, Dr. Vignan Rachabattuni
