HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The warm water compress or massage should help.

In addition to this, you would need to rest and elevate the limb.
Elevation would help if there is any swelling and would also help with pain relief.

The use of one of these anti inflammatory pain killers , ibuprofen , cataflam or naproxen , would also help as well.

I hope this helps

General & Family Physician Dr. Amarnath's  Response
Welcome to hcm,
Fist let me know which leg is affected left or right. If it is only calf muscle pain physio therapy is needed for you. And everything will be fine in a week. If pain is severe you need a orthopedician opinion after some basic investigation.
The investigations may include xray foot and ankle ap and lateral view of the affectedside.
Hope this explains.
With regards
Dr.Amarnath
