Suggest Treatment For Pain In Calf Muscles Post Injury
Hello Doc,
I am Jones David.. from India... yesterday i met with an small accident... from then i have bare pain in Calfmuscles .... i can walk with littlepain... i can bend my Knees i can rotate my ankles... every thing ok....other than calf muscles.... as a first aid... i had Warm water massage.... so please help me cure from this.... is this anything serious....
In addition to this, you would need to rest and elevate the limb. Elevation would help if there is any swelling and would also help with pain relief.
The use of one of these anti inflammatory pain killers , ibuprofen , cataflam or naproxen , would also help as well.

Welcome to hcm, Fist let me know which leg is affected left or right.If it is only calf muscle pain physio therapy is needed for you. And everything will be fine in a week. If pain is severe you need a orthopedician opinion after some basic investigation. The investigations may include xray foot and ankle ap and lateral view of the affectedside. Hope this explains.
