Suggest Treatment For Pain In Ear And Surrounding Areas
I have had a niggling pain in my right ear for a number of weeks now that is slowly becoming worse and affecting the area where my ear meets my face, roughly just in front of where the jaw hinges. On a visit to the doctor recently ,she took a look and could not see anything. It is the same ear I burst an eardrum about 12 years ago. I fear this is getting could escalate. I am 48 yrs old , male and on strong pain killers, anti inflammatories and pain blockers for my back condition. There is no pain in my teeth but the pain does seem to move up my temple area at times
It looks like either a furuncle or impacted wax or problem in ear drum. You can use some locally applied pain killer ear drops till you visit your ENT specialist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
